Help Food Not Bombs Build A Kitchen And Feed The Homeless

Greensboro’s Food Not Bombs feeds homeless people three times a week. On Mondays evenings, they serve dinner at the Central Library, downtown. On Tuesday and Thursday evenings, they serve at St. Mary’s, at Tate and Walker, near UNCG.
Beginning in January 2008, FNB will serve meals to the homeless from the kitchen at The HIVE, a new community center on Grove Street in Glenwood. But first, they have to build the kitchen! FNB is hosting a fundraising banquet on Saturday, Oct. 13th to raise money for the kitchen. (If you’re interested in attending, email me.)
Your donations will help build the Food Not Bombs kitchen and bring healthy, free meals to our homeless friends in Greensboro!
