My video slideshow from the fundraiser. I sat beside fellow blogger and future mayor Billy Jones (see photo in slideshow — plus one of the lovely Liz Seymour!) Audio from Cakalak Thunder. Enjoy. :)

Trivia: Anybody remember what used to be at 1214 Grove Street?

It used to be the corporate headquarters for the Buy Rite grocery store chain.

Dave, that’s very interesting and I had no idea.

But this is what I was thinking of.

Oh yeah, well, it was that too.

I was talking to a friend last night about how you can learn a lot about a neighborhood by looking at the history of its buildings. Some neighborhoods sort of rise and fall. Others, like Glenwood, seem to go in cycles of prosperity and want. I think that the HIVE will help to usher in a new period of hope for that part of Glenwood. I sure hope so.
