Location: Weatherspoon Art MuseumThe Weatherspoon Art Museum kicks off the 13th Annual “Will Read for Food,” the yearly program of readings by local authors, with a pre-event party featuring French gypsy jazz by the Hot Club of North Carolina, free appetizers, and cash bar from 5:30-7 p.m. Come early and enjoy the latest exhibitions (open until 9 p.m.). Admission is free, with a suggested donation of $5 for students and $10 for the general public to the Greensboro Food Bank.
Participants this year will include Ann Deagon, Stuart Dischell, Golda Fried, Jennifer Grotz, Michael Parker, David Roderick, Allison Seay, and Lee Zacharias. Books by participating authors will be on sale both before and after the event. Limited seating. Free parking is available behind the museum.
