The Greensboro City Council will hold an emergency meeting on Tuesday afternoon, 12/11/07, to discuss recent homicides in Greensboro, including seven during the first week of December. How does this year compare to previous years? Below, a graph created from homicide stats available on GPD’s web site. (Click on image for a larger version.)

    I just posted my own piece on Greensboro bleeding where I used the same figures. I saw a clear picture of what happened and what could have happened. I wander if others will see this same picture. Or will they see the drastic dip in homicides in 2004 as just a fluke? BB
