The HIVE is looking for floor tile

Via email, from Liz Seymour:

The kitchen project has begun at the HIVE! Our first step is to put down a new floor, so we’re looking for 12″ x 12″ vinyl composition tile (VCT). Do you have leftovers from a flooring project at your home, business or organization? Any quantity, any color will help!

The HIVE is a collectively run, not-for-profit community space in Glenwood. Food Not Bombs will be one of the groups that uses the kitchen. They prepare three free weekly meals that feed dozens of homeless people, and those meals will be served at the HIVE when the kitchen project is completed.

» Here’s a list of other building supplies that the HIVE needs for the kitchen.

If you have materials to donate, contact the HIVE. Thank you!
