‘Bum Bot’ chases away the homeless

The “Bum Bot” chases away homeless people and drug dealers from a downtown Atlanta neighborhood.
Some neighbors appreciate Rufus Terrill’s robotic security guard. The bar owner and day care center board member built the robot to help him safely patrol the neighborhood. But homeless advocates are not amused.

My opinion? A little creepy. And scary.

This is an example of failed government and what happens when “leaders” fail to address root problems– people take the law into their own hands.
We can expect to find these and other awful machines or worse in any city that fails to address the root causes of rampant crime and homelessness.
And frankly the world will be worse for it.
I find it interesting that a man who owns a bar has issues with drunks.
