Does your youth group need a quick and easy summer mission project?

NightWatch needs youth groups to put together hygiene kits and snack bags for our street outreach ministry to the homeless. All of our supplies are donated. We just need willing hands to make the bags. If you have a group of youth who can spend a few hours putting together bags in our warehouse space at the Salvation Army Thrift Store on Lee Street, please contact me. A NightWatch team member (probably me!) will be there with you to give you instruction and encouragement. You can do it once, or make it an ongoing project. Thanks for considering this quick and easy way to help our homeless friends.
In order to go out and do street outreach with the NightWatch team on Friday nights, volunteers must be at least 18 years old — or 16-17, accompanied by a parent or guardian. But we do schedule Saturday or Sunday daytime outreach events for youth and college groups, if requested. Let us know!
