Downtown churches are launching a new dinner ministry for those in need on Tuesday evenings, beginning in July:
Prayer and worship | Free hot dinner | Unlimited hope
HOT DISH AND HOPE ON GREENE STREET
A family-friendly ministry for people in need, where all who participate will give and receive.
Come if you need dinner and a full measure of hope, or volunteer to help by contacting one of the sponsoring congregations:

Tuesdays starting July 8 at 6 p.m.

I read an article in the latest issue of Newsweek about Danielle Steele (of all people!) who has been ’secretly’ helping the homeless in San Francisco for the last 10 years. It sounds like similar work as Night Watch. Great story. Check it out!
