Ganache hearts the homeless

My friends and I are regulars at Ganache, and sometimes I talk to Greensboro’s favorite bartender, Damian, about homeless outreach. Recently, we had a conversation about bakeries and restaurants donating surplus food to feed the homeless. And I guess it got him thinking, because on Saturday, he called to tell me that he had a box of baked goods for our homeless friends.  And apparently, there’s more to come in the future…

When I opened that sweet-smelling box and saw all those gorgeous muffins and pastries, I thought, “We’re gonna have some happy people at the Food Not Bombs dinner Monday night!” :)

Thank you, Ganache Bakery & Cafe, and thank you, Damian.  See you so soon, my friends.
