One of Greensboro Urban Ministry’s most exciting events is the Feast of Caring, which invites the community to come together to kick-off the ministry’s annual fund-raising campaign. The event is noted for the beautiful pottery donated by local potters in Greensboro and the surrounding communities.
When you make a minimum $20 pledge or donation to Greensboro Urban Ministry, you will receive a pottery bowl or four Honor Cards. All participants are treated to freshly prepared soup and homemade bread. No reservations necessary.
This event also marks the introduction of the new 2008 Honor Card “First Light” for the holiday season, based on original artwork by local artist William Mangum.
