StreetWatch is an all-volunteer street outreach ministry to unsheltered homeless people in Greensboro, NC.
Current Needs List, as of 12/22/2011:
- adult-sized, cold weather sleeping bags
- thermal tops and bottoms (new only, please; mostly mens XL or larger)
- mens heavy winter gloves and warm hats or caps (new only, please)
- toilet paper
- flashlights and batteries
- mens’ thick, warm socks (new only, please)
- hand sanitizer in bottles or wipes
- rain ponchos (plastic, disposable is good)
- chapstick
- firewood (if you can deliver to a camp)
(We do not need any additional hygiene items or food (or other items not listed) at this time. Stay tuned. Thank you for your generosity!)
Please drop off donations in the StreetWatch collection box in the lobby at Greensboro Police Department Watch Operations, 2602 S. Elm-Eugene Street. If you’re donating a large quantity of items, please contact us by email at outreach@streetwatchgreensboro.com or contact us via Facebook and we’ll arrange to get those items directly from you.
